Before SASHA had a name, women like ours were already doing the work: building, weaving, holding communities together.

Woven From Their Hands

Our own emblem tells the story before we even explain it:

A woman held at the center, supported by three prongs of a single trishul.

Rural Women Empowerment reaches those furthest from opportunity.

Urban Women Skill Development sharpens the capability of women ready to lead and build.

Health for All runs beneath and across both, because no woman is fully empowered if her health is left unprotected.

SASHA exists at the intersection of all three, not any one alone.

Why SASHA Exists

CHAPTER ONE

SASHA was founded on a rationale that's simple to say and hard to solve: a woman's lack of access to digital skills and preventative healthcare, particularly around high-prevalence issues like cervical cancer, creates a cycle that limits her ability to participate fully in today's economy.

And that gap looks different depending on where she stands: a rural woman's barriers aren't the same as an urban woman's, even though both need the same underlying health security. SASHA was built to address all three realities together, under one roof, instead of treating them as separate causes.

The Women Behind SASHA

CHAPTER TWO

Every founder carries someone with them into the work they do. For us, that's our dadi and nani: the women whose strength, sacrifice, and quiet resilience shaped how we understand what empowerment really means.

SASHA exists because of what we watched them carry, and what we wish had been easier for them to access.

Mission

Vision

CHAPTER THREE

To empower women through strategic intervention in rural outreach, urban skill-building, and health security, giving every woman, wherever she starts, the resources to build and protect her economic and physical well-being.

To build equitable ecosystems where every woman, from rural entrepreneurs to urban professionals, has the resources, knowledge, and health security to fully participate economically and socially, and to secure a sustainable future.
